Meg de Windt
Meg graduated from St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, NY with her BA in Communications and concentration in Advertising. After heading West, 10 days after graduation, she was quickly hired by Sunroad, a San Diego based company, where she started her career as the liaison between internal managers and their advertising agency. It was during this time, that she realized her creative abilities and took over all creative work for the company, where she was the Marketing Manager and Lead Graphic Designer for 4 years.
Meg left sunny San Diego for stunning Lake Tahoe with her husband and started Worboys Design in 2008. She spent the next 4 years on her own, building a diverse client base from San Francisco, while she attended the Academy of Art University for an MA in Graphic Design. Meg now calls Denver home, and is beyond proud of the insanely talented team, that makes up Worboys Design today.
How do your siblings describe you?
I cheated. I asked them…
Vibrant, fun loving, driven, fiercely loyal, someone you can always count on with a multitude of abilities and creative talents. She’ll whip together a formal dinner for twelve in 30 minutes, create a successful ad campaign for multi-million dollar companies, make it first across the finish line in an underwater triathlon without getting wet… all while raising 2 amazing girls who will probably lead the world soon… in an always on-point outfit. That’s Meg.
I would have said – Impulsive!
Where did you grow up?
Fairfax, Virginia – Bangkok, Thailand – Honeoye Falls, New York – San Diego, California – Incline Village, Nevada – San Francisco, California – Denver, Colorado – and still growing!
My girls and husband - I really like them! Mountain biking the Flume Trail. Paddling boarding on Lake Tahoe. Hiking, anywhere, with my family. Singing in the car. A solid tennis win.
Graphic Design. Brainstorming with the team. Developing and presenting new design concepts. Creative problem solving. Moments of inspiration!
